Why does the AltaWoman SuperSite have a Membership Section?

For years, the original AltaWoman gallery was totally free.  I was very happy to display my early artwork for everyone to see and enjoy.  Since that time the site has grown greatly in both content and hits per day.
The monthly cost in bandwidth continued to increase to the point where I simply couldn't afford it.
The solution was to either cut back on the available content or charge for a portion of it.  And since the stories of AltaWoman continue to grow, I decided to make a members only section.

As you know, I've tried to keep the cost of membership to the bare minimum ($6/month) just enough to pay my service provider's bandwidth cost and a little extra for all the time it takes to create these comic stories.  And in return, I have dedicated a lot of my time to improving the quality of the artwork and the storylines.  I'm very pleased with the progression AltaWoman has made over the years and I know a lot of fans are too.

Is it safe to use my Credit Card here?

If you are concerned about using your credit card online, you shouldn't be.  The company I use to handle payments is called AC Pay  They are a very reputable company using the latest (most complex) security features to make sure your transactions are secure.  They serve thousands of sites and are extremely reliable.

You can also cancel anytime you like.  And you can do it yourself.  Simply go back to the original sign up page and click on the button that says "Cancel my Membership".  Your membership will be continued until the end of your monthly cycle and you will not be rebilled.
